Bubble Point Test Appratus
The bubble point test system is used to determine the size of the biggest pore and air flow value of the new –or- cleaned reusable candle resp. flat filters.
The size of the biggest pore is the measure to judge about the filter rating and if not in conformity with the previously measured value, about damage –or- change of a filter.

The airflow value allows to determine the quality of the filter cleaning procedure and to estimate the lifetime of a reusable filter in the next filtration cycle after cleaning.

The bubble point test system consists of the inlet air filter for oil free instrument air with quick connection (1) Pressure gauge for the supply pressure (2) Pressure regulator      (3) Pressure gauge (4) Shut-off valve (5) Flow meter     (6) Needle valve (7) Precision manometer (8) Shut-off valve (9) Pressure release valve
The system is installed in a portable case. Included in the supply is a through for immersing candle filter of upto 70 mm diameter and 700 mm length as well as some connectors and tubing for connecting the system to candle filters.

Stationary bubble point test systems can be selected with various dimensions of the tank depending upon the requirements.

The filter to be tested is immersed into the test tank containing isopropyl alcohol and completely wetted. The bubble point test system is connected to the compressed air supply and to the filter at closed shut off valves. The system pressure is adjusted to a minimum value. The needle valve of the flow-meter is slowly opened after opening the shut off valves to the flow-meter and to the precision manometer. The needle valve is opened carefully until the first air bubble is observed at the filter. The inlet pressure to the filter  indicated at the precision manometers read at the same time. The pressure value is measure for these called “Bubble Point” i.e. for the filter rating respectively for a damage or change of filter.
For determining the air flow value the dry filter is connected to the bubble point test system at a system pressure adjusted to a minimum. The needle valve of the flow-meter is opened and the air flow increased, until the filter inlet pressure at the precision pressure manometer reaches the defined measuring pressure (200 Pa). The air flow value at this pressure is taken at the flowmeter. Compared to the air flow value of the unused filter, measured under identical conditions and at the same filter inlet pressure, a judgement about the filter cleaning quality and an estimation of the next filtration cycle period length is possible.
The bubble point test system is designed to determine the bubble point of filter media and filters which is a figure for characterization of the fineness of filter media and filters as an indicator for damage to a filter. It is measured usually at the filter immersed in isopropyl alcohol as a pressure and read in pascal –or- mm of water gauge.
The bubble point test system additionally determines air flow rate of the filter media and filters which is a figure for characterization of the permeability of a filter and allows, if compared with the air flow rate of the virgin filter, an estimation of the filter capacity at the next filtration cycle.
Ultrasonic Cleaning System
(A) Introduction:
The Ultrasonic cleaner type (Sonicator) is compact solid state Ultrasonic System designed for rapid cleaning and sonicating of large intricate parts and assemblies.
Ultrasonic frequently produced by generator converts into mechanical vibration by PZT transducers mounted bottom of tank, this high frequency sound wave is added to the cleaning liquid these results in the build up and collapses of large numbers of minute bubbles throughout the liquid. This effect known as cavitation is responsible for the Special scrubbing action which ensures quick and through cleaning of all immersed surfaces to clean by ordinary methods.

The Ultrasonic cleaning is adopted for cleaning of complicated articles and delicate Components. The cleaning of such parts by any other method is impossible or not predicates. This method is also helpful for degreasing of component by using appropriates chemicals like trichlorocthelen Components like bearing, bearing parts engine components of watch industries spectacalus industries, Textile Industries and chemical and pharmaceutical industries, which are not possible to clean by any other method, are cleaned thoroughly using Ultrasonic.

Despite vigorus action of the cleaner it is particularly suited for the cleaning of delicate parts of watch and electronic crystals, valve components, picture tube, relays, switches, printed circuit boards, Jewellery and optical ware and numerous fragile assemblies can be cleaned with little or no mantling because canvitation will penetrate in to all parts where the cleaning liquid is in contact with the surface.
Basically, the reason for the introducing Ultrasonic energy in to a cleaning liquid is to provide the intense scrubbing action on the part to be cleaned. It is also accelerates the chemical Action of cleaning liquid making it more effective on soluble soils or matters which ordinary not removed by chemical alone.
PU sponge & foam can be used in panel with proper support of expanded mesh/woven wire mesh.
(B) Design
The ultrasonic cleaner consists of fully transistorized ultrasonic Generator with built in fan for cooling and transducerised stainless steel (316G) tank to generator. This generator is Protection, addition facilities like Timer and heater are provided as customer Requirement.
The transducer employs lead-zirconate- titanate ceramic rings and ps of sandwich Type. The transducer assembly makes use of latest Technology developed in ultrasonic conical type of tranducers will spread vibration uniformly in tank. Transducers are generally mounted on bottom of tank of stainless steel. Tank is housed in MS cover or SS.

Self Rotating ball cleaning Device:

TFI Offers  100 % SS 316 cleaning device for Filter elements & also for tank cleaning applications.

The Device is having Female threads and hence can be easily pipe connected for end use applications.

The ball is having vertical fine slits in tangential direction and hence rotates under water pressure giving a jet effect for effective cleaning..
R & D Filter Unit
TFI Filtration (India) Pvt. Ltd offers filter unit for laboratory and R&D application for conducting lab trials under pressure.
Normally lab trials are conducted using filter paper under gravity or vaccum using Glass funnel and the production requirement is managed under pumping pressure and hence the results are differing.

If filter paper is used for pressure filtration then the media gets easily tear off.
